Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker, Blown internal fuse on Viadrus control board, Faulty main power switch, Loose power connection in terminal block
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Before working on electrical components, ensure the main breaker is off and verify with a tester.
- Check breaker: Locate the dedicated breaker for the Viadrus furnace in your electrical panel. Reset if tripped. If it trips again immediately, do not force it; call an electrician.
- Inspect main switch: Verify that the on/off switch on the furnace is in the ON position and not damaged.
- Terminal block: Remove the electrical cover on the furnace and check that the supply wires are firmly clamped in the terminal block. Tighten loose screws.
- Internal fuse: Many Viadrus control boards have a small glass or cartridge fuse. With power off, remove and inspect it. Replace only with the same rating. If it blows again, there is a short circuit that must be diagnosed by a technician.
