Possible Causes
Faulty fan motor, Blocked flue, Blocked air intake, Faulty air pressure switch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch off power and ensure the furnace is cool before inspection.
- Check flue and air intake: Go outside and inspect the Vokera flue terminal. Remove any visible obstructions such as leaves, plastic bags, or ice. Ensure the air intake is not blocked.
- Inspect fan area: Remove the front panel and combustion cover. Check that the fan impeller is free of debris and can rotate by hand (power OFF). Do not force it if seized.
- Check air pressure switch tubing: Locate the air pressure switch and its silicone tubes to the fan or flue hood. Ensure tubes are not split, kinked, or blocked with condensate. Remove and blow through gently to clear moisture, then refit securely.
- Restart: Restore power and call for heat. If the fan does not start or 03 reappears, the fan motor or pressure switch may require replacement by a qualified technician.
