Possible Causes
Faulty fan motor, Damaged fan speed sensor, Loose fan connector, PCB fan driver fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before removing the front panel.
- Check fan connector: Locate the fan assembly and ensure its multi-pin connector is fully seated on the fan and PCB.
- Inspect wiring: Look for damaged or loose wires between the fan and control board.
- Spin test: With power OFF, gently spin the fan impeller. It should rotate freely without grinding noises.
- Restart: Restore power and call for heat. If the fan does not start or code 11 returns, the fan assembly or PCB likely needs replacement by a technician.
