Possible Causes

Stuck fan relay on PCB, Faulty fan overrun setting, Shorted thermostat wiring, High limit switch latched

Safety: Turn off power before accessing the control compartment.

Check thermostat: Ensure the fan setting on the thermostat (if present) is set to AUTO, not ON.
Observe display: If the furnace indicates an overheat condition, the fan may be running intentionally to cool the unit.
Power reset: Turn off power for 2 minutes, then restore. If the fan immediately starts without a heat demand, the PCB fan relay may be stuck.
Technician repair: PCB or limit switch diagnostics and replacement should be done by a professional.
