Possible Causes
Blown low-voltage fuse on Wolf control board, Broken R or C wire to thermostat, Failed 24V transformer, Shorted accessory (humidifier, UV light) on R-C circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before working on low-voltage circuits.
- Check furnace status: Verify that the Wolf furnace control board has power (LEDs lit). If not, see no-power troubleshooting.
- Fuse and transformer: Inspect and replace the low-voltage fuse if blown, after checking for shorts. Test the transformer for 24VAC output.
- Thermostat wiring: Inspect the R and C wires at both the furnace and thermostat. Repair any breaks or loose connections.
- Accessory isolation: Temporarily disconnect accessories from R and C to see if the thermostat powers back up, indicating a shorted accessory.
