Possible Causes
Leaking pump seals, Corroded primary heat exchanger, Dripping automatic air vent, Leaking diverter valve or manifold seals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate electrical power immediately if water is leaking near electrical components. Place a container under the boiler to catch drips.
- Turn off water supply: If the leak is significant, close the boiler's isolation valves and the cold water inlet (on combi models).
- Do not remove case if sealed: Many Worcester Bosch boilers have a room-sealed case that should only be removed by a Gas Safe engineer.
- Engineer repair: A technician should identify the leak source, replace faulty seals, pump, or heat exchanger, and test the system for further leaks.
