• Step 2 – Inspect antenna: Ensure the opener’s antenna wire is fully extended and hanging down, not wrapped around the rail or tucked inside the housing.
• Step 3 – Reduce interference: Replace noisy LED bulbs in the opener or nearby fixtures with RF‑friendly types. Move Wi‑Fi routers or other RF devices away from the opener.
• Step 4 – Test from different angles: Metal doors and structures can block signals. Try operating from different positions to identify shielding issues.
• Step 5 – Add external antenna: If range is still poor, consult B&D about an external antenna kit compatible with your model.
