Possible Causes
Defective BFT radio receiver module, Incorrect receiver configuration or memory corruption, Damaged or disconnected radio antenna, Electrical interference or metal shielding near the receiver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Work with power off when inserting or removing plug-in receiver modules.
- Test wall button: Confirm the opener works from the wired push button. If it does, the fault is limited to the radio system.
- Check antenna: Inspect the BFT antenna wire or external antenna kit. Ensure it is connected to the receiver terminal and not cut or coiled tightly around metal.
- Reprogram remotes: Follow the BFT procedure to clear and re-learn transmitters into the receiver memory. Ensure you are using compatible BFT remotes (e.g., MITTO series).
- Reseat or replace receiver: For plug-in receivers, remove and reinsert the module into the control board slot. If E07 persists, try a known-good BFT receiver module.
- Check for interference: Move any new electronic devices (LED lights, Wi-Fi routers) away from the opener to reduce RF interference.
