Possible Causes
Corrupted configuration memory on BFT control board, Power interruption during programming, Faulty EEPROM chip, Electrostatic or surge damage to control electronics
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before removing or replacing any control components.
- Power cycle: Turn off mains power for at least 60 seconds, then restore power and check if E11 clears.
- Factory reset: Follow the BFT manual to perform a full factory reset of the control board parameters. Be prepared to reprogram limits, forces, and remotes.
- Reprogram settings: After reset, carefully re-enter all required parameters and test operation.
- Surge protection: If E11 recurs, consider installing a surge protector on the supply line to protect the new board.
If the error persists after reset, the control board memory is defective and the board should be replaced.
