BFT Intermittent Power or Loose Connection

Garage door opener works intermittently; sometimes stops mid-travel without any error on display.

Possible Causes

Loose mains terminal screws on BFT board, Intermittent neutral or ground connection, Loose low-voltage connectors, Failing internal power relay

Safety: Turn off power before tightening any terminals.

Check mains terminals: Tighten L/N/PE screws on the control board and in the junction box feeding the opener.
Inspect plug and cord: If the opener uses a plug, ensure it fits firmly in the outlet and the cord is undamaged.
Reseat connectors: Press all low-voltage plugs (motor, encoder, BUS, sensors) firmly into their sockets.
Monitor operation: After tightening, run multiple cycles to confirm stability.
