Dry the unit: Open the housing and allow it to dry completely. Use a gentle airflow; do not use high heat.
Inspect for corrosion: Check terminals and PCB for green/white corrosion or rust. Clean light corrosion with contact cleaner and a soft brush.
Seal entry points: Tighten cable glands and repair any cracks in the housing. Ensure the unit is mounted to shed water.
Test operation: Once fully dry, restore power and test. If faults persist, the board or motor may have been damaged and require replacement.

Consider adding a weather shield or relocating the control box to a more protected area.
