Control unit shows E7, radio remotes do not work but wall button may still operate the door

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing or inserting receiver modules.

Steps:

• Check antenna: Inspect the CAME antenna (often a short wire or external whip) for breaks or disconnection from the receiver or control board.
• Reseat receiver card: If your opener uses a plug‑in CAME AF radio card, remove it carefully and reinsert it firmly into the correct slot.
• Test with wall button: Confirm that the door operates from a wired push button. If it does, the fault is limited to the radio system.
• Reprogram remotes: Follow the CAME instructions to clear and re‑learn remote controls. Ensure you are using compatible CAME remotes (e.g. TOP, TAM, or rolling code series matching the receiver).
• Try a known‑good receiver: If available, temporarily swap the receiver card with a working one to confirm if the original is defective.

If E7 remains and no remotes can be learned, replace the radio receiver module or use an external universal receiver wired to the control inputs.
