Safety first: Until resolved, disconnect power or lock the manual release to prevent unauthorized opening.

Steps:

  • Disconnect wall button: Temporarily remove the wires from the STEP‑BY‑STEP (START) terminals on the CAME board. If random openings stop, the button or cable is faulty.
  • Inspect push button: Check for stuck contacts or water ingress. Replace if necessary.
  • Clear and reprogram remotes: Erase all stored remotes from the receiver memory and re‑learn only your own remotes, preferably using rolling‑code models.
  • Change coding: On older fixed‑code systems, change DIP switch settings on remotes and receiver to a unique combination.

If the problem persists, the receiver may be defective or subject to strong interference and should be replaced or relocated.
