Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse feeding the opener, Disconnected mains cable to CAME control unit, Internal fuse blown on CAME board, Faulty power outlet or spur
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not work on live circuits. If unsure, use a qualified electrician.
Steps:
- Check other devices: Verify if other appliances on the same circuit have power. Reset any tripped breaker or RCD.
- Test outlet: Plug in a lamp or tester at the opener's outlet to confirm power is present.
- Inspect power cord: Ensure the CAME opener's plug is fully inserted and the cable is not damaged or pulled out of the control box.
- Check internal fuse: With power off, open the control box and locate the mains fuse. Test and replace with the same rating if blown. If it blows again immediately, there is an internal fault requiring service.
If power is present but the unit remains dead, the control board or transformer is likely defective and should be replaced.
