Inspect and replace battery:

• Open the battery compartment on the Decko opener (if equipped).
• Check for corrosion on terminals and clean if necessary.
• Note the battery type (often 12V sealed lead-acid) and date code. Replace if older than 3–5 years or if visibly swollen.

Reconnect and test:

• Install the new battery, ensuring correct polarity.
• Restore power and observe if beeping stops after a short charging period.

If beeping continues with a new battery, the charger circuit on the control board may be faulty.
