Decko opener rail flexes excessively or bangs when starting and stopping.

Safety first: Disconnect power before adjusting mounting hardware.

Check rail alignment and support:

• Verify the rail is level or slightly sloped toward the opener.
• Add an additional ceiling support bracket at mid-span if the rail sags or flexes.
• Tighten all lag screws into solid framing.

Adjust chain/belt tension:

• Loosen the tension nut slightly if the chain/belt is extremely tight and causing rail bowing.
• A small amount of sag is normal and reduces stress on the rail.
