How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep clear of the door while adjusting limits.
Adjust down limit:
- Locate the DOWN limit adjustment screw on the Decko opener.
- Turn the screw in the direction that reduces travel (usually counterclockwise) by 1/4 turn.
- Test closing. Repeat until the door stops just at the floor without significant bounce.
Inspect floor and seal:
- Check for high spots in the concrete or objects under the door.
- If the bottom seal is excessively stiff or deformed, replace it with a compatible seal.
