Remote range is very short; Decko opener only responds when remote is very close.

Safety first: Keep clear of the door while testing remote operation.

Check remote:

• Replace the remote battery with a new, correct type (often CR2032 or similar).
• Ensure the remote case is intact and the button is not sticking.

Inspect antenna:

• Verify the antenna wire on the Decko opener is fully extended downward and not wrapped around metal brackets.
• If the antenna is broken or missing, replace or repair it according to the model’s parts list.

Reduce interference:

• Temporarily turn off nearby LED bulbs, Wi-Fi devices, or other electronics to see if range improves.
• Replace noisy LED bulbs with ones rated as garage-door-opener compatible.

If range remains poor with a good antenna and new remote battery, the RF receiver on the logic board may be failing.
