Possible Causes
Seasonal changes causing door expansion, Dry or corroded hinges, Ice or debris on tracks, Stiff weather seals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the door hardware.
- Inspect tracks and seals: Remove any ice, dirt, or debris from tracks and around the door edges. Check that weather seals are not folded or jammed.
- Lubricate hardware: Apply a suitable lubricant to hinges, roller stems, and pivot points. Do not lubricate the track running surface.
- Adjust force slightly: If allowed by the Garador manual, increase the open/close force settings slightly to compensate for seasonal stiffness, staying within safety limits.
- Re‑test: Run several cycles and verify that the door reverses properly when obstructed.
