Possible Causes

Shorted accessory module (e.g., external receiver, timer), Incorrect wiring to accessory terminals, Overloaded 24 V accessory output, Faulty loop detector or keypad

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing or adding accessories.

  • Remove all accessories: Disconnect all devices from the accessory terminals (keypads, timers, external receivers, loop detectors, etc.).
  • Power test: Restore power with no accessories connected. If E13 clears, one of the accessories or its wiring is faulty.
  • Reconnect one by one: Connect each accessory in turn, powering down between changes if required. When E13 reappears, the last connected device or cable is the culprit.
  • Check accessory ratings: Ensure the total current draw on the 24 V output does not exceed Garador's specified limit. Remove or power heavy accessories from a separate supply.
  • Replace faulty module: Replace any accessory that causes E13 when connected, or correct its wiring according to the Garador wiring diagram.
