Possible Causes
Open motor winding, Loose motor connector, Failed motor capacitor (on AC motors), Burnt relay contacts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate mains power. Only qualified persons should test live circuits.
- Check motor connector: Ensure the motor plug is fully seated on the Garador control board and that no pins are burnt.
- Inspect capacitor (if fitted): On AC motor models, locate the start/run capacitor. Look for bulging or leakage. Replace with the exact µF rating specified.
- Measure motor resistance: With power off, measure motor winding resistance and compare to Garador specifications. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
- Replace components: Replace the motor capacitor first if suspect. If no improvement, replace the motor/gearbox assembly or the control board relay as required.
