Remote controls do not work but wall console operates the opener normally.

Safety first: Do not stand under the door while testing remotes.

Steps:

• Replace batteries: Install fresh, correct-type batteries in each Genie remote.
• Reprogram remotes: Press and release the LEARN button on the opener, then press the remote button until the opener clicks or lights flash.
• Test range: Stand within a few feet of the opener when testing. If it works only very close, interference or a weak receiver is likely.
• Reduce interference: Temporarily turn off nearby LED lights, Wi-Fi routers, or other RF devices and retest.
• Replace control board: If no remotes will program or operate the opener but the wall console works, replace the Genie control board with integrated receiver.
