How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the opener housing or wall console.
- Check wall console: If it has a light button, ensure it is not stuck in the pressed position. Replace the console if necessary.
- Disconnect wall console: Temporarily remove wall console wires at the opener. Restore power and see if the light turns off after the normal timeout.
- Inspect logic board: Look for a stuck or burned relay on the board. Tapping lightly may temporarily release it, confirming the fault.
- Replace logic board: If the light remains on regardless of controls, replace the Guardian logic board.
