Possible Causes
Manual lock function enabled on wall station, Lock switch stuck, Miswired wall control, Faulty lock circuit on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure you can see the door while testing to prevent accidental closure on people or objects.
Steps:
- Check lock button: Many Henderson wall stations have a LOCK or VACATION button. Press and hold for several seconds to toggle the lock function off. An indicator LED may change state.
- Test from wall station: Try closing the door using the wall button. If it works but remotes do not, the lock function was active.
- Inspect wall station: If the lock LED will not turn off, remove the wall station and check for stuck buttons or contamination. Replace the Henderson wall control station if defective.
- Check wiring: Confirm the wall station wires are on the correct terminals and not shorted to other low‑voltage circuits.
- If E12 persists with a known‑good wall station: The lock input circuit on the Henderson control PCB may be faulty and require board replacement.
