Possible Causes

Faulty safety beam self‑test, Incorrect wiring on safety terminals, Shorted accessory on safety circuit, Defective control PCB safety relay

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not bypass safety circuits for normal operation. Disconnect power before rewiring.

Steps:

  • Disconnect accessories: Remove any non‑Henderson accessories (keypads, add‑on receivers) from the safety and control terminals.
  • Verify wiring: Compare all low‑voltage connections to the Henderson wiring diagram. Correct any miswired or doubled‑up connections on the safety beam terminals.
  • Test with only beams: Reconnect only the Henderson safety photocells and wall control. Power up and see if E15 clears.
  • Board safety relay: If E15 persists with correct wiring and known‑good beams, the internal safety relay on the Henderson control PCB may have failed. Replace the board.
