Possible Causes

Active emergency stop input, Faulty wired safety edge, Shorted safety edge cable, Misconfigured safety input jumper

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Confirm no one is in the door opening and that no emergency stop has been intentionally activated.

Steps:

  • Check emergency stop: If your Henderson system has an external emergency stop button, ensure it is reset (pulled out or twisted as designed).
  • Inspect safety edge: For doors with a wired bottom safety edge, check the rubber edge and cable for damage. Straighten any crushed sections.
  • Test input: Temporarily disconnect the safety edge wires at the opener and install the correct Henderson jumper plug or link as specified. If E19 clears, the edge or cable is faulty.
  • Replace components: Install a new Henderson safety edge or repair the cable as required. Remove any temporary bypass before returning the door to service.
