Possible Causes
Stuck wall button, Shorted wall control wiring, Neighbor's remote on same code, Faulty RF receiver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Until resolved, disconnect power or use the manual lock to secure the door when away.
Steps:
- Inspect wall control: Check for a stuck button or moisture. Disconnect the wall control wires at the opener and monitor. If the problem stops, replace the Henderson wall control station or cable.
- Erase and reprogram remotes: Use the Henderson LEARN button to clear all remotes, then reprogram only your own.
- Check RF receiver: If the door still activates with wall control disconnected, the RF receiver may be picking up stray signals. Replace the Henderson RF receiver module.
