Display shows letter “A”, operator does not respond to radio commands

• Check for internal receiver: Many Hormann operators have a plug‑in radio receiver module (e.g. HET/S, HET 24, BiSecur receiver). Ensure it is present and fully seated in its socket.
• Verify compatibility: Confirm that the receiver matches the operator model and region (e.g. BiSecur 868 MHz for EU). An incompatible module may not be recognized.
• Inspect antenna: Ensure the antenna wire is intact and routed away from metal parts.
• Reprogram remotes: After confirming the receiver, clear and re‑learn hand transmitters according to the Hormann manual.
• If “A” remains: Replace the radio receiver module. If still not detected, the control board may have a faulty receiver interface.
