LiftMaster Smart Control Panel or Multi-Function Wall Control LED flashes and door will not close from remote.

Safety: Confirm the door area is clear before operating.

• Check lock function: On wall controls with a LOCK button, press and hold the LOCK button for 2–3 seconds to toggle the lock off. The LED should stop flashing.
• Test remote: Try operating the door with the remote. If it now works, the issue was the lock feature.
• If still flashing: Refer to the wall control display or LED pattern; many models flash to indicate a safety sensor issue. Check and align the safety sensors as described in sensor-related entries.
