Garage door opener light does not turn on when door operates, but opener otherwise works.

Safety: Disconnect power before changing bulbs or touching the socket.

• Replace bulb: Install a new bulb of the correct wattage and type recommended by LiftMaster. Avoid high-interference LED bulbs.
• Check socket: Inspect for corrosion or bent contacts. Clean gently if needed.
• Test manual light button: Press the light button on the wall control. If the light still does not work, suspect the board.
• Replace logic board: If the light circuit is failed and you need the courtesy light, replace the logic board.
