Garage door will open but will not close from remote; must hold wall button down to close.

Safety: Holding the wall button overrides the safety sensors; only do this while watching the door and as a temporary measure.

• Check sensor LEDs: Confirm both safety sensor LEDs are solid. If not, realign or repair wiring as described in sensor entries.
• Clean lenses: Wipe sensor lenses with a soft cloth.
• Secure brackets: Tighten sensor brackets so they do not move when the door vibrates.
• Test: Once both LEDs are solid, the door should close normally from the remote.
