Possible Causes
Remotes lost from memory after power event, Incorrect programming procedure, Incompatible remote model, Receiver memory full or corrupted
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep clear of the door while testing remotes.
- Confirm compatibility: Check that your remotes are Marantec‑compatible for your opener model and frequency.
- Reprogram remotes: Press the learn/program button on the opener until the LED lights. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the desired button on the remote until the opener light blinks or clicks. Repeat for each remote.
- Clear and re‑add if needed: If remotes still fail, clear all codes from the opener memory (per manual) and then re‑add remotes.
- If still no response: The radio receiver section of the control board may be defective and the board should be replaced.
