Opener lights and display are on, but pressing the wall button or remote does nothing; no motor noise.

Safety first: Ensure the door is secure while troubleshooting.

• Check wall station: Many Merlin wall controls have a "Lock" or "Vacation" button. Press and hold this button for several seconds to toggle the lock off. An indicator LED may change state.
• Menu settings: On digital models, enter the user menu and verify that any lockout or vacation mode is disabled.
• Test remotes and wall button: After disabling lock, test both. If they now work, no further repair is needed.
