• Check internal fuse: With power disconnected, remove the opener cover and look for an inline or board-mounted fuse. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown.
• Look for burn damage: Inspect the control board for burnt components or odor. If present, the board and possibly transformer are damaged.
• Professional service: If the outlet is good and the opener remains dead, replace the control board assembly or the entire opener head as recommended by Mighty Mule.
