Opener light does not turn on when door operates, but opener otherwise works normally.

Safety first: Turn off power and allow the bulb to cool before handling.

• Replace bulb: Install a new, opener-compatible bulb (often rough-service or specific LED type recommended by Mighty Mule).
• Check socket: Inspect the lamp socket for corrosion or burned contacts. Clean lightly or replace the socket if damaged.
• Test light function: Use the wall console light button (if equipped) to toggle the light. If it never turns on with a known-good bulb, suspect the control board light relay.
• Board replacement: If the relay is not switching and the socket is good, replace the control board.
