• Replace bulb: Install a new bulb of the correct wattage and type recommended by Motorlift (often LED or incandescent up to a specified wattage).
• Inspect socket: Look for corrosion or burned contacts in the light socket. Clean lightly or replace the socket if damaged.
• Check for constant-on issue: If the light never turns off, even after the timer period, the light relay on the logic board may be stuck. Replace the logic/control board.
• Verify settings: Some Motorlift models allow a light-on override via the wall control. Ensure the light button is not latched on.
