Possible Causes
Remotes not programmed, Dead remote batteries, Erased receiver memory, RF interference, Defective receiver circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep clear of the door while testing remotes.
Steps to fix:
- Replace remote batteries: Install fresh batteries in each Motorlift remote, observing correct polarity.
- Reprogram remotes: Press and release the LEARN button on the opener, then press and hold the remote button until the opener light blinks.
- Check antenna: Ensure the opener's antenna wire is intact and hanging freely.
- Test range: Stand within a few meters of the opener and test. If remotes only work very close, interference or a weak receiver is likely.
- Replace logic board: If no remotes can be programmed or used, replace the Motorlift logic/control board with integrated receiver.
