Safety first: Ensure the door area is clear before testing keypad operation.
Steps to fix:
- Replace battery: Open the Motorlift wireless keypad cover and replace the internal battery (commonly a 9V or coin cell) with a fresh, high-quality battery.
- Reprogram keypad: Press and release the LEARN button on the opener, then within 30 seconds enter your desired PIN on the keypad and press ENTER (or the designated key). Wait for the opener light to blink.
- Test operation: Enter the PIN and press ENTER to open/close the door.
- Inspect for damage: If keys stick or the keypad has water intrusion, replace the keypad with a Motorlift-compatible wireless keypad.
