Door is very noisy during operation: grinding, squealing, or banging sounds from the Nice opener or door hardware.

Safety first: Disconnect power before tightening hardware. Do not place hands near moving parts when testing.

• Lubricate moving parts: Apply garage door lubricant to rollers, hinges, and pivot points. Do not grease the tracks themselves.
• Tighten hardware: Check all track brackets, opener mounting brackets, and rail joints. Tighten loose bolts and screws.
• Adjust chain tension: If the chain slaps the rail or cover, tighten it per Nice specifications.
• Listen to motor head: If grinding comes from inside the Nice operator, the internal gear or bearings may be worn. In that case, replacing the motor head or gear kit is recommended.
