Possible Causes

Incompatible Nice accessory module on BUS terminals, Shorted BUS wiring, Incorrect polarity on BUS connection, Faulty interface module (e.g., Nice IBT4N, O‑View interface)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before connecting or disconnecting BUS accessories.

  • Remove new accessories: Disconnect any recently added BUS devices (keypads, network interfaces, etc.) from the BUS terminals on the Nice board. Restore power and see if E15 clears.
  • Check BUS wiring: Ensure the BUS wires are connected with correct polarity (+/–) and that there are no shorts between conductors.
  • Test modules individually: Reconnect each accessory one at a time, powering down between changes, to identify which device triggers E15.
  • Verify compatibility: Confirm that each accessory is approved for your specific Nice control board and firmware version.
  • Replace faulty module: If a particular module consistently causes E15, replace it with a new, compatible Nice accessory.
