Possible Causes
Disabled radio receiver or erased remotes, Faulty wall push button, Active lockout or vacation mode, Blown low‑voltage fuse on Nice control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening the control housing.
- Test wall button: Bypass the wall control by briefly shorting the START/STEP‑BY‑STEP terminals on the Nice board with an insulated screwdriver. If the door moves, the wall button or its wiring is faulty.
- Check lockout mode: Some Nice systems have a lock or vacation mode via keypad or wall station. Consult the manual and ensure this mode is not active.
- Reprogram remotes: If only remotes fail, re‑learn at least one remote into the receiver. If learning fails, suspect the receiver module.
- Inspect low‑voltage fuse: Look for a small fuse protecting the 24 V or logic supply. Test and replace with the same rating if blown.
