Possible Causes
Burned‑out bulb or LED module, Incorrect lamp type, Failed courtesy light relay or triac on Nice board, Loose lamp socket connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before changing bulbs or opening the housing.
- Replace lamp: Install a new bulb or LED module of the correct type and wattage recommended by Nice.
- Check socket: Inspect the lamp socket for corrosion or loose contacts. Gently bend the contact tab if needed to ensure good contact.
- Test output: If the new lamp does not light, measure voltage at the lamp terminals when the courtesy light should be on. No voltage indicates a board fault.
- Board replacement: If the courtesy light circuit on the board has failed, replacing the Nice control board is usually required.
