Possible Causes
Lock function enabled on wall console, Safety sensors faulted, Travel limits not set, Logic board internal fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the door area is clear before attempting to operate.
- 1. Check wall console lock: If the lock/vacation feature is on, the opener may flash the light but not move the door. Turn off the lock and test.
- 2. Verify safety sensors: Confirm both sensor LEDs are solid. Correct any alignment or wiring issues.
- 3. Confirm travel limits: If the opener was recently installed or reset, the travel limits may not be programmed. Follow the manual to set open and close positions.
- 4. Try the LEARN/PROGRAM button: Press and hold the LEARN/PROGRAM button briefly to see if the motor jogs. If not, the motor or board may be faulty.
- 5. Power cycle the opener: Unplug for 60 seconds, then plug back in. If the symptom persists, the logic board may need replacement.
