Door starts to open then immediately closes again, or bounces at the top

Safety first: Keep clear of the top section of the door while adjusting limits.

• Observe travel: Watch the top of the door as it opens. If it hits the opener rail or header, stop immediately.
• Reduce up limit: Adjust the Skylink opener’s up limit so the door stops just short of the header and does not contact the rail.
• Inspect top bracket: Ensure the top door bracket and opener arm are secure and not bent. Replace damaged brackets with the correct Skylink door arm kit if needed.
