Possible Causes
Debris in tracks, Bent track or roller bracket, Loose door panel hardware, Excessive force setting masking mechanical issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and secure the door before working on tracks or hardware.
- Inspect tracks: Look for stones, screws, or other debris in the vertical and horizontal tracks. Remove any obstructions.
- Check alignment: Ensure tracks are plumb and parallel. Loosen mounting bolts slightly, tap tracks into alignment, and retighten.
- Examine rollers and hinges: Tighten loose hinge screws and replace bent hinges or damaged rollers.
- Reset force: Reduce both up and down force settings to Skylink’s recommended starting point, then increase only as needed after mechanical issues are resolved.
