Safety first: Confirm visually that the door is clear before issuing remote commands.
- Check wall console lock: Ensure the Skylink wall console is not in lock or vacation mode, which can block remote commands.
- Verify sensors: Confirm safety sensors are aligned and LEDs are solid. Many smart models will not move the door via app if sensors report a fault.
- Update firmware/app: Update the Skylink app and, if supported, the opener firmware to the latest version.
- Re‑link account: Remove and re‑add the opener in the Skylink app to refresh permissions.
