• 1. Inspect floor and seal: Remove any objects from the threshold. If a new, thicker bottom seal was installed, the close limit must be adjusted.
• 2. Re‑set close limit: Follow the Sommer instructions to move the close limit slightly higher so the door just contacts the floor without excessive compression.
• 3. Check for door flex: If the door bows when closing, reinforcing struts may be needed to reduce flex that triggers the force reversal.
• 4. Test multiple closes: Run several close cycles and confirm the door stays closed without reopening.
