Garage door will not open or close at all; no motor sound, but opener has power (LEDs or light are on).

Safety: Ensure the door is not locked with manual slide locks before troubleshooting.

• 1. Check wall station lock: Many Sommer wall controls have a lock or vacation mode. Press and hold the lock button (or follow the icon) for several seconds to toggle it off, then test.
• 2. Try remote vs wall button: If remotes work but wall button does not, replace or rewire the wall control. If wall button works but remotes do not, see radio/remote diagnostics.
• 3. Inspect low‑voltage wiring: Verify the two wall control wires are firmly attached at both ends and not shorted together.
• 4. Test board response: If neither wall button nor remote triggers any relay click or light change, the control board output stage may have failed and should be replaced.
