Possible Causes

Remote memory at capacity, Corrupted remote code storage, Failed learn button switch, Damaged EEPROM on logic board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Be aware that clearing memory will erase all remotes and wireless keypads; you will need to reprogram them.

  • Clear remote memory: Press and hold the "Learn" button on the opener head for 10–15 seconds until the indicator LED turns off or blinks rapidly, indicating all codes are erased.
  • Reprogram remotes: Press and release the Learn button, then press the desired button on each remote in turn. Confirm each remote operates the door.
  • Check learn button: If the Learn button feels stuck or does not click, the switch may be physically damaged. The logic board will likely need replacement.
  • Persistent F11: If memory cannot be cleared or new remotes cannot be stored, replace the logic board with the correct Wayne Dalton part.
