Opener runs but trolley does not engage the door; door remains closed or open.

Safety first: Ensure the door is fully closed or securely supported before re-engaging the opener.

• Check emergency release position: On Wayne Dalton rail systems, the red release handle should be in the "engaged" position. Pull the handle toward the opener or door as specified in your manual to re-latch the trolley.
• Move trolley to reconnect: With the door closed, run the opener once. The trolley should move and automatically reconnect to the door arm when it reaches it.
• Inspect trolley: If the trolley carriage is cracked or the latch is missing, replace the trolley assembly with a compatible Wayne Dalton part.
• Verify door arm hardware: Ensure the straight and curved arms are bolted correctly to the door and trolley.
